We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
STEAM DAY - Own clothes Day on Friday, 28th April 2017
Following the success of our STEAM Day in September, we are holding another STEAM event in school on Monday, 12th June 2017 when parents and carers will be invited to join us.
To help make the day as fantastic as the last one, we need to raise funds to support the activities we have planned. We will be holding a “Wear Your Own Clothes for STEAM” day on Friday, 28th April and are suggesting that each child donates 50p if they wear their own clothes (donations of more or less this amount are also welcome!).
We will also be holding a cake sale on Friday, 12th May 2017 to mark the end of SATS and again, to raise funds for our STEAM day. Donations of cakes will be very welcome prior to this date.
Thank you for your support.
The STEAM Team – Miss Froggatt, Ms Grant, Mrs Massey and Ms Smith.
Welcome back to everyone. Hope you had a wonderful break over Easter. Just a reminder that we will be starting our "Go for It!" initiative on our return (from Monday, 24th April 2017) to increase our activity during the school day. Every child will be asked to walk or run around the school perimeter before the start of school. Why not come to school in your trainers with your school shoes in your bag ready for an active start to the day!
