We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
We have lots of exciting activities planned in school this week beginning 20th March , including years 3, 4 and 5 heading to the cinema on Tuesday to see "Moana", year 6 watching a Japanese film "Marnie" on Wednesday and year 5 visiting a mosque in Birmingham and the Think Tank on Wednesday. We are also delighted to welcome Mrs Kate Mather, our head teacher from September, into school on Monday to meet with children and staff.
Clubs recommence this week. Please remember to inform us if your child is unable to attend for any reason.
