We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
WORKS TO CAR PARK AND CHATTERBOX NURSERY
Chatterbox are having an extension put on to their nursery.
The work will begin on 20th Feb (half term) with the car park being remarked so there will be limited access to school during this time. The work on the car park should be completed by the time we return to school after half term but please take care as pathways may change, etc.
Chatterbox will be moving out and temporarily based at the Rockspring Centre, as the work on Chatterbox will continue for a few further weeks.
If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Wear It Woolly for Age Concern - don't forget to wear something woolly on Friday 17th February in aid of Age Concern UK.
