We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
Thank you to everyone who supported comic relief this year. We sold lots of red noses, made lots of funny faces and managed to raise a fantastic £443. Well done everyone.
Some of our year sixes are involved in a community project with the rotary club and are raising funds for a defibrillator. They are organising a chocolate draw with tickets priced at 20p each on sale every breaktime from Monday 23rd March. Donations of chocolate prizes are very welcome and the draw will take place on Friday 27th March.
All parents/carers are invited to a Special Educational Needs Disabilities Coffee Morning on Wednesday 18th March at 9.15am.
