We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.

We have returned from a very enjoyable and informative Crucial Crew visit where children participated in workshops covering subjects from fire safety and alcohol awareness to bullying and understanding dog behaviour - a really mixed bag of essential life skills. A big thank you to all the services and volunteers who made the day possible but also a really massive thank you to all the year six children who behaved brilliantly. They were a credit to our school and one group even had to stand up in front of everyone for a special mention. Well done year 6!
Year 6 are travelling to Oldbury Wells School in Bridgnorth on Tuesday, 21st June 2016 to attend the Crucial Crew workshop learning how to keep themselves safe in lots of different scenarios.
Weather looks dry but please be prepared for sunshine and showers. Don't forget your packed lunch too.
