We are a very friendly Junior School with strong community links. Every member of staff is committed to making sure that every pupil gets the most of their time at our school. We work hard to make sure school offers a happy and safe environment.
We believe that a good education is the right of every child and that it is important that each child gets the very best out of their time in school. Each child is an individual and as such has different strengths and interests, which should be valued and encouraged.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious building and grounds, which offer lots of opportunities for different activities including a wide range of sports.
Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our partnership with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
Children (and Mrs Little) wearing their onesies and pjs to school to raise money for Children in Need. We also had a cookie sale and face painting. We will let you know how much we have raised.
We had a fantastic World Book Day with many of the children (and staff!) coming to school dressed as their favourite book characer. Thank you for all your support with costumes. Children will be receiving a book token to the value of £1.00 but we are still waiting to receive these. We will post some photographs of the amazing costumes.
Thank you to everyone who came to meet with teachers on Tuesday and Thursday. It was great to see so many parents and carers and to discuss your children's progress.
