SEN/SEND

Ludlow Junior School supports the inclusion of all pupils and we aim to focus on providing inclusive practices and removing barriers to learning. We endeavour to remove barriers to learning in order that pupils with learning needs and physical or sensory disabilities can be educated alongside their peers and participate as fully as possible in the school curriculum, and other educational and enrichment activities. We believe in equal opportunities and we try to meet the physical, emotional and learning needs of all of our pupils.

We have good relatiionships with a number of external agencies and believe in strong partnerships with parents. We hold regular SEN coffee mornings where we invite parents to give their views in a friendly and welocoming environment.

LJS takes part in School Fitness Week

This week, pupils from Ludlow Junior School will be taking part in School Fitness Week and being part of the aim by Joe Wickes to get 1 million school children exercising and having fun.  THe week will run for 5 days, with a live workout streamed each day on the Joe Wickes YouTube channel at 10am from Monday September 11th - Friday 15th September 2017.

The aim of schools' week is to get more kids active and feel the benefits of exercise so young people can see that fitness can be fun and to love it!  Every day for a week, pupils will take part in a live 20-minute workout.

So far, it's been great fun with children really enjoying the sessions. More information can be found here.
