Health - School Dinners & Travel

It is necessary for the school to have an address and contact telephone number to a Home link, where a parent, relative or friend can be contacted during the day, in case of illness or other emergency. Minor accidents will be attended to and sick children taken care of until parents can be contacted. In the case of bumped heads a sticker will be attached to your child’s jumper to inform adults of this.

If your child is going to be away due to illness or a medical appointment please let us know on the first day of absence. A telephone call or note to the office is appreciated. If for any reason you have not informed school while your child has been absent please send a letter upon their return to school. The School will check unexplained absences .

If your child needs to take medication during school time please fill in the form at the back of the prospectus.

Junior Paracetemol is available if a child is in pain and the cause is obviously minor (e.g. headache). If you do not wish your child to receive paracetemol please inform school.
