The Flintstones

The Flintstones

The children are really enjoying learning all about the Stone Age.  We went on a fantastic trip to the Discovery Centre, where the children learnt all about how Shropshire would have looked during the Stone Age.

In school, the children have enjoyed experiencing what it was like to paint in a cave and have even made their own 'stone age paint'.  They has also been writing newspaper articles and diaries about stone age life.

Non Uniform Day Friday 16th February

Next Friday 16th February we are going to have a non-uniform day. It is traditional for children to bring a donation for the privilege of not wearing uniform. The donations will be for a pupil who has recently undergone surgery to cure his epilepsy, to give to either the Epilepsy Charity, Ronald McDonald House or the Birmingham Children’s Hospital. We would suggest that the children wear something red as he is a keen Arsenal fan.
